At ABAT, students have the right to share their opinions and express themselves in a safe environment where they can meet in groups with an adult advocate. The Advocacy Program aims to support students emotionally, socially, and academically. The key objective is to foster students’ personal growth, promote their engagement at school, and build a relationship of trust with teachers and staff. Advocacy sessions are devoted to learning and practicing valuable life skills to help students achieve their utmost potential and become responsible citizens.
The current parent committee has set its objectives, which are
- Work closely with the school administration for the aim of the school progress and development.
- To encourage parents to become involved with their child’s school experience by attending events held throughout the school year/ contributing their time, skills and talents at school events.
- Participate and help the school in student activities and general activities such as guest speakers, sports tournaments, celebrations, etc.
- Participate in fundraising activities to support school programs and advance in the achievement of its mission.
