The Makassed Islamic Scouts Association is an educational, voluntary, non-political association geared towards the youth, available for everyone regardless of gender or origin, based on the universal purpose of scouting, and the values of the mission statement of the Makassed Association.

The Makassed Islamic Scouts Association deals with the youth affairs based on national, Islamic principles, and the noble scouting teachings. It also allows them to be engaged in real life experiences enhancing their life skills and making them more flexible and creative.

The Makassed Islamic Scouts Association bases its pillars on the following:

ABAT Scouting regiment works on setting plans per year, per semester and per week that include religious, scouting, social and educational topics based on the following age groups:

 The Cubs circle: for boys aged between 7 and 10 years who work on reinforcing talents and self-dependence.

The Flowers circle: for girls aged between 7 and 10 years who work on reinforcing to reinforce talents and self-dependence.

The Scouts circle:  for boys aged between 11 and 14 years who work on reinforcing to reinforce the ability to take responsibility and obey parents.

The Counseling circle: for girls aged between 11 and 14 years who work on reinforcing the ability to take responsibility and obey parents.

The Rangers circle: for boys aged between 15 and 19 years who work ON discovering the others and social service.

The Guides’ circle: for girls aged between 15 and 19 years who work to on discovering the others and social service.
